Our Design and Deployment Process
Learning your Unique Needs
Every network is unique. Some have basic needs of just a couple devices and other can be quite complex. Thats why we don't approach your project with a "canned" one-size solution. We take the time to understand your needs, so we make sure we're a good fit and can do your project right.
Site Survey
Coming on-site to view your existing setup is very important to the process. This will allow us to learn which Internet Provider you're using and its bandwidth, the condition and age of existing wiring, and investigate local WiFi congestion and interference at your location.
Creating Your Action Plan
Using special design tools we can create a plan of action that will resolve your network issues.
By overlaying radio output maps onto your floor plan, we can get an accurate estimation of range and prevent those dreaded WiFi dead-zones.
Our paid action plan also includes pricing of the required equipment and deployment of our network solution.
Choosing the right Hardware
Picking the right network hardware is critical for success. Ubiquiti Networks makes a full line of routers, switches, WiFi access points, and accessories that work together. The interface is easy to understand, and your system can be expanded later on if your needs grow.
Deployment
The big day. All the parts and supplies have arrived and based on the size and scope of your project, we will coordinate with you on the new system's deployment.
We'll install the new pre-configured and tested hardware, and then run a series of quality tests to make sure its all working correctly by project completion.
Orientation and Hand-Off
Making sure you feel confident. Once everything outlined in the project is completed, we'll have an orientation with you on maintenance tasks and passing control to you.
We do offer Managed Support packages available for those that would rather delegate on-going maintenance to us.
Pricing for Our Services
On-site Hourly Rate: $150 per hour
Travel is billed threshold to threshold
Written quote with parts and good faith estimate of total labor costs provided during the Action Planning phase.
